Do I need an account?
There is no WhoPays account or password. To pay or get paid for real, connect a Universal Profile. You can create or manage one with Universal Everything. You can also explore the local demo without a wallet.
Is it free to use?
WhoPays currently adds no app fee to create, share or pay a request. Network fees can apply, and swaps can include price impact, slippage or other routing costs. Depending on your Universal Profile and provider, gas may be sponsored by a relayer or paid in LYX. The demo sends no transaction.
Is my money safe?
WhoPays never holds or moves your funds. Contributions go directly from the contributor’s Universal Profile to the recipient, and you approve every transaction in your connected profile. Always check the amount and recipient before confirming.
What currency do requests use?
Every request uses Bridged USDC (Hyperlane), an LSP7 token on LUKSO, and the recipient receives that token. A payer can send it directly or, when a Phlox route is available, swap LYX or another supported LSP7 token during payment. EUR is an input convenience: WhoPays estimates the USDC amount when the request is created.
Is the demo real money?
No. “Explore the demo” uses sample data stored only in your browser. Nothing is sent and nothing settles on-chain. Connect a Universal Profile when you are ready to pay or get paid for real.
